Volunteer Opportunities

Following the Heritage Lottery Fund award for Tuckers Hall, we are now seeking volunteers to help us improve access to the Hall and work on two projects


There are five categories of volunteers required:

  • Stewards to work at the Hall and help visitors experience this unique location
  • Researchers, with the skills to photograph records, held at the Devon Records Office
  • Researchers, with the skills to transcribe minute books and other documents
  • Researchers, with an aptitude for IT to digitise the transcribed records onto a database
  • Researchers, with an interest in how the cloth trade was exported from Topsham
